Hardeep Singh Brar Appointed CEO of BMW Group India
BMW Group India has named Hardeep Singh Brar as its new President and CEO, effective September 1, 2025. Brar brings over 30 years of experience across major automotive brands including Maruti-Suzuki, Volkswagen, Nissan, and most recently, Kia India. He succeeds Vikram Pawah, who will now lead BMW Group’s operations in Australia and New Zealand. Brar’s appointment marks a strategic move as BMW aims to expand its presence in India’s luxury automobile segment. Known for his expertise in sales and marketing, Brar is expected to accelerate BMW’s growth and electrification strategy in the country.
